The Role
The Senior Enrolment Adviser is a key member of our Enrolments (Sales) Team. We offer a personalised enrolment service to students and their guardians, and this role plays an important part in delivering that service, securing enrolments and supporting the enrolment team to exceed targets.
The Senior Enrolment Adviser is the first point of contact for prospective students and their families, driving exceptional conversations and helping those looking for tutoring to fully recognise the implications of their current situation and how our service can transform their educational reality.
Working closely with team members and the Sales Manager, alongside occasional work with wider stakeholders, the post holder will drive performance and compliance to support business growth and organisational reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer acquisition, including understanding lead types and how to improve ROI across high-intent and low-intent leads
- Application of the SPIN method
- Ensure compliance for all sales processes and identify areas for improvement
- Use CRM data to analyse performance and improve overall departmental conversion rates
- Meet or exceed agreed goals and conversion targets
- Guide and support new and developing advisers
- Encourage teammates to meet and exceed targets
- Actively contribute to and support a high-energy environment within the enrolments office
- Contribute to the development of SPIN strategies for the wider team
- Collaborate cross-functionally to contribute to business development efforts
- Provide occasional departmental cover in the manager’s absence
- Play a fundamental role in maintaining and promoting a positive team culture
Person Specification
- 2+ years’ telesales experience or equivalent
- Strong, demonstrable performance record to achieve and exceed conversion targets
- Proven high performance in quality and compliance standards
- Knowledge of lead types and how to maximise ROI per lead type
- Capable of applying and agilely adapting the SPIN method to caller requirements
- Technical aptitude to use CRM
- Excellent active listening skills
- Exceptional communicator
- Customer-focused
- Self-motivated, ambitious and target-driven
