How much does summer tutoring cost?
The first one-to-one lesson is £1. Regular 40-minute 1:1 lessons are £39.90 for Primary, Secondary, GCSE, SATs and 11+, £43.90 for SEND at those levels, £46 for A-Level and £48 for A-Level SEND. Early Years or other routes can be confirmed by our team.
Does the £1 first lesson apply to group tutoring?
No. The £1 offer applies to the first one-to-one lesson only. Regular one-to-one lessons then continue at the standard rate unless cancelled in line with the terms and conditions.
Is this summer tutoring page for one-to-one or group lessons?
This page is for one-to-one summer tutoring. NLG group tutoring is separately available only for 11+ Exam Preparation, GCSE Maths and GCSE English, subject to current availability, sufficient enrolment and suitable group placement.
Which GCSE and A-Level subjects can NLG support?
Supported GCSE routes include Maths, English Language, English Literature, Combined Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography, French, Spanish and German. Supported A-Level routes include Maths, Further Maths, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History, Geography, French, Spanish and German, subject to tutor availability.
Can SEND learners use summer tutoring?
Yes. One-to-one online tutoring can be matched around the learner’s stage, subject and support needs. Current SEND rates are £43.90 per 40-minute lesson up to GCSE level and £48 for A-Level SEND.
When should summer tutoring start?
There is no single best start date. Support can begin during the school holidays whenever a suitable tutor is available. Some learners use summer lessons to revisit gaps, while others focus on the next school stage, entrance exams or upcoming GCSE and A-Level preparation.
