National Learning Group 1:1 online tutoring starts from £38 per session for primary pupils, £42 per session for secondary and GCSE students, and £46 per session for A-Level. Group tutoring for 11+ and GCSE Maths and English starts from £20 per week.
NLG GCSE 1:1 tutoring costs £42 per 40-minute session, billed weekly. GCSE group tutoring in Maths or English starts from £20 per week for 60-minute sessions. Upfront lesson blocks are available with savings of up to 30%. The first lesson is available for £1.
Yes. NLG offers a £1 trial lesson for all new students. This is a full tutoring session for just £1 with no commitment and no contract. Book your £1 trial here.
1:1 tutoring is billed weekly by Direct Debit via Stripe Bacs. No long-term contracts. Group tutoring can be paid weekly or via upfront lesson blocks with savings up to 30%. For 1:1 tutoring you can cancel with 4 weeks' notice notice after the 14-day cooling-off period, where for Group tutoring.
NLG currently offers group tutoring for 11+ preparation (Maths and English combined) and GCSE Maths and GCSE English separately. All group sessions are 60 minutes with a maximum of 8 pupils per group. All other subjects and levels are 1:1 only.
1:1 tutoring gives your child a dedicated tutor for 40-minute sessions tailored to their specific gaps and confidence. Group tutoring brings up to 8 pupils together for 60-minute structured sessions at a lower price. Group works well for exam preparation where a structured curriculum applies to all pupils.
Yes. NLG offers specialist SEN 1:1 tutoring for pupils with dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD and other additional learning needs. SEN support pricing depends on the student's stage: Primary £40, Secondary £44, GCSE £44, 11 Plus £44, A-Level £46 and TEFL £38. Learn more about SEN tutoring.
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel with 4 weeks' written notice after the 14-day cooling-off period. There is no penalty for switching between 1:1 and group formats.
